Backbone ache

I'm trying to sleep earlier today as having backbone ache.. Yet, I can't asleep due to the discomfort and it's so hot =( And now, I'm sitting infront of my lappy and start blogging.. I'm a young 17 almost 18 year old who "regularly" do exercise and quite active in out-going.. How can i already be an old woman with a backache?? It sounds terror.. Without thinking, I go and survey about causes, symptoms and so on of backbone ache.. Here's the research..

What have caused the backbone pain??
Pain in the "tailbone", otherwise known as coccydynia ["pain in the tailbone"]reflects an inflammation of the coccyx. Can be a fracture if the patient fell on the tailbone. Can be seen in hard deliveries especially when the baby is quite large...

Here are four major follies, which become the causes of lower back pain. Millions of people commit these mistakes everyday. Some are not aware of the back pain causes while some are, well, utter careless about their back. Read them carefully. Are you committing any of these follies?

Prolonged Posture

Immobility weakens your back muscles and renders them inflexible. Therefore, it's a mistake to sit or stand in one posture for hours together. You are creating back ache causes. Even if you are maintaining a correct posture, you need to move your leg or body every now and then to prevent stiffness and pain. And if your chair is without support, your back is in danger!

Improper Lifting Of Heavy Things

We know you are strong, but be smart too! Your spine has a natural curve that needs to be maintained. When you bend to lift heavy item with a jerk, it puts manifold pressure on your spine and makes it prone to injury or breakage. To avert causes of lower back pain, the best way is to bend your knees and lift slowly. This distributes the pressure to your leg, which has the strongest muscles in the body, and saves your spine from cracking.

Stress

Emotional stress is one of the causes of lower back pain. Stress results in shallow and rapid breathing. This stiffens your muscles of the spine. Your spine becomes vulnerable to damage due to compression forces that begin to work. Extreme anger leads to holding of breath, which produces the same effect. In severe cases, your back might be thrown out of balance or bent over. This is one of the causes of back pain.

High Heels

Yes, we know you love them! But, don't be too carried away with fashion to forget your back. Once you injure your spine, you will have to forget those high heels forever. How horrible! If you want to avoid this situation, it's better to wear heels with intervals. Do not stand with them for hours together. For some days, go on flats. This way, you can successfully avoid causes of lower back pain. Remember; a healthy back goes well with fashion.

There are other causes of lower back pain too. They include infection in spine, disorders in lungs or kidneys, increased weight during pregnancy, and others. Your aim should be prevention, not cure.

There's only possible in the first causes *Prolonged Posture* and the others are totally out because i don't ever life a heavy thingy ; i'm holiday-ing so impossible I'm stress ; I never wear high heels [ It doesn't mean I'll not wear it in the future ]..

Below are some of the remedies to cure back pain

1. Ice therapy: Put the ice in towel. Apply it on paining part for 5 to 10 minutes at a time but not more than say twenty minutes.

2. Heat therapy: Rinse a small towel in hot water and wring it to near dry. Now apply it on aching back for a minute. It is safe unlike the heating pad as it won’t burn your skin up.

3. Simple stretches: To speed healing and increase flexibility try out some simple stretches but not such an extent that the pain increases. Sit in a chair with feet flat on the floor. Now bend forward in the waist, bringing the chest slowly toward thighs. Hold on to the stretch for 15 seconds. Or try standing stretch. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart; place the hands on the small of the back. This promotes the movement in spine.

4. Keep back straight: While bending down to lift the object see to it that you don’t bend in the back but bend in knees and hips.

5. Holding tight: While carrying try to keep it close or farther you hold it the heavier it would get.

In spite of all given remedies above make a point that the posture of carrying the body is correct and that is while walking, sitting and standing. Another point which will help to relieve the back pain in non working generation would be never to sit, stand or walk relaxed because by that one may not be relaxing the muscle but would perhaps stress the back more.

Is that useful?? I'll try it out...

*Yawn* Sleepy..
